Wear Tracker

Wear Tracker is a application for Wear OS watch and Android smartphone that combines location tracking with physical activity. It can be used to monitor children, the elderly and for special applications.

The application monitors the user's physical activity indicators and his location in the background and transfers them to the monitoring system. In case of emergency situations, such as, for example, going beyond the allowed zone, too low or high heart rate, too low body temperature, the monitoring system sends an alert to the user by e-mail and/or messenger.

The application can block incoming calls from numbers not included in the address book. For this feature to work, you must grant the appropriate permission, enable the feature in settings, and set Wear Tracker as the default caller ID and anti-spam app. By default, blocking incoming calls is disabled.

What is your data used for?

Wear Tracker collects data about the location and physical activity of the user, such as the number of steps, heart rate, body temperature. Collected data is used to analyze physical activity and issue recommendations and warnings about abnormal situations.

The order of access to user data, their use and storage is described in the Privacy Policy.

Installation and setup

1. Install the app on your smartphone and/or watch.

2. When launched, the app will ask for permissions to track your location in the background and access location data. All permissions must be granted. Without this, the application will not work.

3. If all permissions are granted, the tracking service will automatically start and the status of the tracker on the main screen of the application will become Offline.

4. Connection to the monitoring system. If you already have an account in the monitoring system, go to step 5, if not, you need to create it. Wear Tracker can be used with systems Rosnavi and Vialatm. We recommend using Rosnavi, because it is maintained by the Wear Tracker developers and provides more control over the app.

5. After entering the monitoring system, you need to create a new object:

• Type: Osmand

6. Specify the device ID from the Settings - Device Id menu, IMEI for VialatM.

7. Select the appropriate monitoring system in the application settings.

8. After some time (usually 1-2 minutes), the tracker data should appear in the system, and the status on the application screen will change to Online.
